About Dennis Blanch

I have been a professional photographer for many years. A combination of my photography and passion for art has led me to fine art reproduction work. I’ve always had a passion for art in various media. I have previously produced works in timber and wrought iron. About 25 yrs ago I started doing giclee prints to a museum quality archival standard. At this point I went back to painting which I am thoroughly enjoying. Having worked with artists over the last 25 years and being involved with art since high school I find myself in a position where, as well as doing my own art, I have been helping artists achieve their goals by offering reproductions and prints of their work and I’m now starting to help with a gallery on my website www.fargallery.com.au giving a platform for good artists to showcase their work. I have recently been honoured with an award as a finalist in the Lake Mac Art Leaders Award section. I have also lectured on the benefits of combining digital and traditional art. I have curated an exhibition with Lake Mac in Toronto Library with three other artists to help showcase our work. I open my home up for the Open Studio weekends, incorporating other artists as well as myself to give them a platform for their art work. I am having work hung in the Lake Mac Art Gallery to help promote the upcoming Open Studios weekend.
